How to read this evidence

Look for repeatable tracking, not one perfect mesh

A sixteen-object sequence is useful because the scanner must repeatedly regain tracking, change viewpoints and complete coverage. Watch for pauses, resets, doubled edges and areas the operator avoids. Those moments reveal more about daily usability than the final render alone.

Separate laser and NIR evidence

Raptor's blue-laser and NIR systems serve different jobs. Evidence from a marker-assisted mechanical scan should not be transferred automatically to markerless body capture, and a fast NIR result does not prove the smallest laser-mode detail claim.

Include preparation in the purchase decision

Markers, surface treatment, lighting and object positioning are part of the demonstrated workflow. A buyer should count that preparation time and consumable cost, especially when the regular workload includes reflective, dark or low-feature parts.

Ask for dimensional evidence separately

The footage can show coverage, surface appearance and operating behavior, but it does not establish traceable accuracy. For fit-critical work, request a representative raw mesh and compare known dimensions or a calibrated reference before treating the scanner as a measurement solution.
