Step by step

Complete the workflow in order

  1. 01

    Choose near or far mode

Use near mode for smaller objects and far mode when you need more coverage; the wrong range makes tracking and detail harder

  2. 02

    Set exposure before moving

Check the preview for missing dark areas and blown highlights while the scanner is steady

  3. 03

    Capture with overlap

Move in planned lanes and keep previously captured geometry in view so alignment has continuity

  4. 04

    Inspect before meshing

Remove background points, check for drift and fill only holes that do not represent real openings

  5. 05

    Export for the real deliverable

Choose OBJ or PLY when color matters and STL when the next step only needs a printable mesh

Do not stop at a green button

Check the result before relying on it

The complete object is covered

Separate passes align without visible steps

Real holes remain open

Scale is checked before printing or CAD work
