Complete the workflow in order
- 01
Connect and identify RANGE 2
Assemble the standard package, connect power and data, then confirm that Revo Scan names RANGE 2 before creating the project
- 02
Choose tracking from the surface
Use feature tracking on distinctive geometry and marker tracking when large smooth or repeated areas do not provide reliable references
- 03
Set the working distance before recording
Frame the object and keep the distance indicator in its recommended range while adjusting exposure for the target surface
- 04
Plan the object into overlapping zones
Divide a person, sofa or vehicle into sections and preserve recognizable overlap rather than making one long unstructured sweep
- 05
Pause when tracking becomes uncertain
Return to a known region after a tracking warning instead of continuing and creating a duplicated or shifted surface
- 06
Inspect coverage before meshing
Check boundaries, undercuts and broad panels, remove background points, then verify scale in the fused result before export
Do not stop at a green button
Check the result before relying on it
Revo Scan identifies the correct scanner
The project uses a tracking method suited to the object
Broad sections align without duplicated edges
The exported model has a checked scale
